How to add slides to your event?

Last updated: May 20, 2025

Videosync displays slides as a separate element, synchronized with video (both live and on-demand). This gives attendees control over their viewing experience - full screen video, or just slides with audio - and ensures high-quality content delivery even on poor connections.

Slides also serve as indexed jump points, letting viewers navigate directly to specific content in recordings.

Replacing slides is quick and easy. Instead of re-editing video in Premiere, simply upload a new slide deck and update the timing in our editor. See Editing and Publishing a Recording for details.

Adding slide decks

Videosync accepts slide decks in any aspect ratio (16:9, 16:10, 4:3, A4) and you can mix sizes in the same event. However, we recommend using one consistent aspect ratio for the best experience.

💡
Slide decks must be in PDF format.

Export PowerPoint, Keynote, or other formats to PDF first. Note that animations are removed during export - if animations are essential, consider using video-only streaming with picture-in-picture presentation.

Workflow:

  1. Go to PreparationPresentation slides
Presentation slides section
  1. Drag and drop PDF files into the upload area, or click to browse
  2. Videosync processes the PDFs - you can continue working while this happens
  3. Reorder slide sets by dragging the handle (marked in red below)

  1. Click Save to apply changes

Your slides are now ready for live events or recordings. Read here how to control slides during live event.
